AFMX SCREENINGS AND EVENTS LOCATIONS

Our 2025 festival will be a live presentation of our selected films with film screenings, music performances, and Center Stage Conversations at different venues in the Nob Hill district of Albuquerque.  To learn more, visit here.

FESTIVAL PASSES

Each film will receive two Filmmaker Passes, which allow full access to film screening blocks, After Party events, and Center Stage Conversations.  Names of the two designated film representatives to receive these festival passes are required by September 1.

Filmmakers may purchase additional passes for a 25% discount. The code will be emailed in a separate email, or contact Kira at kira@afmxnm.com; please include your film name.

Passes do not guarantee seating; only free admission. It’s recommended to arrive early for each film block.

Passes are available for pick up on Monday, Sept. 23rd, and Tuesday, Sept. 24th, from 10 am to 4 pm and during the festival at AFMX Festival HQ: HalfLife* Digital, 3215 Central Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102.

TRAVEL ACCOMMODATIONS

There are discounted rates for our visiting filmmakers on our website here.  There is also additional information on additional lodging and dining venues.

Because we are a non-profit organization, we, unfortunately, cannot provide travel stipends or reimbursements.

GETTING AROUND

Believe it or not, ALL of our events take place along the original Route 66, otherwise known as Central Avenue! All of our venues are within walking distance of each other.

Plus, there is a direct bus route, Route #66, that travels along Central Ave to our venues. Our bus transportation is free to use in Albuquerque.

One of the best aspects of the Nob Hill District of Albuquerque is that there are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat or grab a cup of coffee. Close to the University of New Mexico, Nob Hill offers a variety of restaurants, coffee houses, cafes, and nightlife. Check out our Dining Page for a list of our favorite restaurants.
